Chris and Lilly

Image
The  University of Southern Queensland or  U.S.Q. was the location for this engagement shoot. Lilly and Chris are the happy couple. Decided on U.S.Q. . because the  Japanese Gardens  is located beside U.S.Q. . Lilly has coloured ranking belts in 3 different martial disciplines and with martial arts being such a big part of her life the Japanese Gardens just seemed the logical choice. We also able to use some of cool architecture at U.S.Q.to make other fun photos too. Of course there is a YouTube  slideshow. Dennis & Tyanna Surprise Wedding. This is Dennis & Taynna's wedding. They told their guests they were having a naming day but they planned a surprise wedding. You can see their photos here:  www.davidrookphotographer.com   and the slide show on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYsjqpa-hyc They chose Crows Nest Golf Club Queensland. Crows Nest is about 20 minutes north of Toowoomba. This made venue for beautiful wedding photos. The Crows Nest golf course is just outside Toowoomba has stunning views and having the run of all the fair ways helped too. Denns and Tyanna had their wedding close to sunset gave me the opportunity to use the soft golden light.  Dennis & Tyanna have terrific kids who always come close to stealing the show. of course they had the eldest daughter as their flower girl. Their has so much charm that at times she almost stole the show.  When you are planning you wedding think of when you will be hav...

Dennis and Tyanna at the Japanese Gardens Toowoomba

This is a engagement shoot I did at Toowoomba Japanese Gardens near Toowoomba’s USQ “University of Southern Queensland”. It was a beautiful winters day, not cold just cool late in the afternoon to get beautiful soft light.     I met Dennis and Tyanna at the Highfeilds Wedding Expo and we talk about heir important day. It was a week later when they called me and booked their engagement shoot.   “Getting engaged is important for Dennis and I” Tyanna says “but its also to photograph our kids because its special day for them too” As a photographer I feel that engagement shots are important. This is the last time will be photographed as individuals before they become joined when they are married. Marriage is not only a beginning but its also a ending. Its unique time when your engaged its when you are excited and hopeful and before the and thework begins. Dennis and Tyanna were lucky enough to be able to bring her parents along to The...
