Kyle and Jessica had a beautiful wedding. It was a warm summers day. There were a few nerves getting around that day. There was one person had an awfully bad of nerves. But since they had Tweeters Country Getaway to themselves and had intimate ceremony, they could take their time. They did not have to travel, and celebrant was a close family friend and a guest. (How convenient was that!!!!!) Everyone was happy to wait and made for speeches. But when the nerves settled the bride just had to walk around the corner to make her entrance. 





Many couples would love to have their wedding in a country setting but still want all the modern conveniences without having to travel hours and hours. The hidden escape amongst the bush on the Darling Downs, is Tweeters Country Getaway it has all the modern conveniences maintaining a magnificent wedding which has farmhouse rental, ideal for smaller weddings that be unforgettable and relaxed.



What does make Tweeters Country Getaway so unique as a wedding venue?  It offers a wedding that is stress free as possible and the stress of a wedding is real. A wedding is the result of months of meticulous planning and budget stretching bridesmaid wrangling and sometimes family mediation. To say a wedding is complex is an understatement. It is where you stand in front your family and closest friends and declare your eternal love and commitment to each other and sign legal documents. Tweeters Country Getaway is just outside Crowsnest on the New England highway – 57km North of Toowoomba city and 162km West of Brisbane. Being a rural property, it is easily accessed by all types of vehicles. Tweeters Country Getaway is located on 72 beautiful and is heavily timbered, the wedding venue has the stunning feature of a natural deep gorge with amazing time-worn rock formations, creek & small caves, abundant wildlife and native flora making most stunning wedding photos.



The accommodation has 6 rooms that can sleep up to 16 people. 4 rooms with Queen beds and there is room for the kids 2 rooms have the funniest thing in the world, bunk beds. Wedding brings families together and some the rooms can be joined together. For privacy and convenience each room has an ensuite, the all-important wedding dress and suits can be stored safely in the walk – in – robe. To snuggle for wintery nights every room also has electric blanket the larger house has a wood heater for the warmer summer days the queen rooms have reversed cycle air-conditioning and each room has a TV. Wi-Fi is available so you can share your wedding day with your friends and family on social media. Tweeters has lots of five-star reviews saying how friendly the staff are and how the rooms are so clean. Wheelchair accessible and disabled facilities/room are available.

Getting ready for your wedding can be incredibly stressful and getting ready at the location of your ceremony and reception will save time and reduces the stress of travelling. The Bride and groom can have separate accommodation allowing the groom and bride get ready at the same venue and not see each other.



Tweeters Country Getaway has full professional kitchen and all the facilities you need for a wedding catering. Being an outdoor venue, it is romantic to have your wedding reception under stars lit by fairy lights. The venue has an outdoor bar and a fire pit perfect for later night drinks late into the night. For the wedding ceremony there is a alter and seating for your guests. Separate bar and dance floor so people who like to dance can have the music up loud and you are in the country and not disturb the neighbours. Having separate bar allows people to chat and catch up without having to shout.

In the morning you can wake up in the have a recovery breakfast using the ample BBQ facilities and relax in the plunge pool to freshen up if you are feeling a little dusty the next day.

Tweeters Country Get away has thought of everything for your perfect wedding.

If you have spare time and want to explore what the region has to offer. There are National Park, Wineries, Museum & Historical Village, Horse Riding, Weekend market as well as the town of Crow’s Nest are within 15 – 45 minutes’ drive. Idyllic locations just outside Crowsnest.



If you would like to include your dog in your wedding day Tweeters is a dog friendly wedding venue. The owners have their own dog who is very friendly and well trained and because they love their dog and love having guests stay. Peacocks and other wildlife wonder freely across the grounds. Tweeters has a petting zoo for the kids to explore country lots to do for the kids and adults.

Tweeters have common sense rules to keep everyone safe.  Tweeters have kennels for their comfort and safety. For health and safety dogs and animals are not allowed in the guest’s rooms or cooking facilities.  

Tweeters Country Getaway is a beautiful location for stunning wedding photos. Tweeters overlooks a stunning sandstone gorge and with abundance of wildlife, the natural setting allows you to have stunning sunset forest photos. Having your wedding photos in the Australian bush will create relaxed photos that will be timeless and reflect who you both are as a couple.
